How to make a dynamic QR code
- Create a free QRius account. No credit card during the beta.
- Add your destination link and design the code with your colors and logo.
- Print it. Change the destination whenever you like, and watch scans arrive in your dashboard.
Static vs dynamic QR codes
A static code stores your content in the pattern itself, so it can never change. A dynamic code stores a short QRius link that redirects to your destination. Because the redirect happens on our side, you can change the destination and count scans without touching the printed code.

Tips for codes that scan
- Use dynamic codes on anything expensive to reprint: packaging, signage and brochures.
- Give each placement its own code to compare which poster or table gets scanned.
- Add UTM tags to the destination so your web analytics credits QR traffic.
- Static codes are still best for Wi-Fi and contact cards, which phones read without a link.

What's the difference between static and dynamic QR codes?
A static code stores your content directly and can't change after printing. A dynamic code stores a short link that redirects to your destination, so you can change it later and track scans.
Do dynamic QR codes expire?
They keep working while the account that owns them is active. During the beta, dynamic codes are free.
Can I see who scanned my code?
You see totals: scans over time, cities and devices. QRius doesn't identify the people who scan.
Can I turn a static code into a dynamic one?
No. A static code's content is fixed. Create a dynamic code and print it to get editing and analytics.
